Charlotte City Council members approved a petition Monday to rezone one of the largest pieces of land available for development around uptown — land that has been eyed as the new home of an NFL football stadium.

Tepper may want to wait and see if his team improves any before worrying about a stadium. As it is now he would only need enough seats for him and his friends.

Highest & best use for that land definitely isn't a football stadium...

...this land will be developed in mixed-use fashion with a myriad commercial projects that over many decades will literally generate a multi-billion dollar income stream for the CP&F families that currently constitute ownership

I'm OK with a new stadium, if they try and charge me street prices to move my seats, then I'll let them go and attend games when I can

didn't pay a whole lot for the licenses anyway

if this indeed is for soccer, then OK too, they can put gras back in BoA

I'll bet they will want one that can dome up when needed  so Tepper can try to get a SB here..................and you will be paying for it in taxes .........
