You do know you cannot really assess two of those subjects, when the play of one is soo shitty, right?

From what I’ve seen I’d rather draft the future than all this rehab poo.

As far as the line, it needs to be fixed bad but now while dumping contracts and money into rehab projects. Draft a qb and put a one year cheap lame duck qb back there….ala Patriots.

I'm not entertaining your agenda.  Look around at the majority of the posts here...  almost everyone acknowledges that the scheme and line would make Tom Brady and Aaron Rodgers look like poo.  No one is picking on Sam.

Cam is a former league MVP, generational talent, and a guy that energized this entire fan base and led us to a Superbowl that ended up being stolen from us at the hands of the league all while setting numerous league records.

We gave up valuable draft capital for Sam to come in here and play like Randy Fasani.

I think most people could see why there is an emotional attachment to Cam and a lack of sympathy for Sam when he plays shitty.

They appear to be playing pretty even today. Do they not?

This isn't a real argument. Those staffs are much better.

Dan Campbell will turn the Lions around, his persona is similar to Rivera’s as in his guys love to play for him.

I suspect they’ll go QB in the draft and if they hit on whoever they select then that Lions team could be a sleeper next year.

    • Obviously the new FO has only been in charge for a couple years but they have not broken from past trends.
    • Rookie Bryce: Mingo, Thielen, DJ Chark as his WRs ...we won 2 games.  2nd Year Bryce: XL is drafted and becomes Bryce's #1 target in 24...we won 5 games (kinda suprising tho) 3rd Year Bryce: Tmac is drafted and becomes Bryce's #1 with Coker in the mix in '25.. we managed to win the division and make the playoffs. ..8 wins 4th Year Bryce: TBD ..... but we do need another reliable option at the position. Maybe not at 19 (unless its Cooper or Lemon) but somewhere within the top 100.   We are one injury away from reverting back to 23-24 status or worse. And if we dont happen to get substantial gains after this draft atleast we'll have the offense in a great spot to drop in our future QB.  Tmac, Coker, Leggette, Horn Jr, Metchie. I'd be willing to rock with the above but they could def stand an upgrade. An argument could be made at TE too.
    • You're also underestimating Calipari in those scenarios. Calipari can say to a kid "I've put more impactful players into the NBA than any school over the last 20 years".  Michael Malone can tout that he was run out of the NBA for not understanding impactful players.  I wouldn't count any chickens yet on top recruiting classes and deep tournament runs.  On a side note, can't remember where, but saw some interview where the guy was saying the NBA All Star Game should be the USA vs World vs Kentucky - and then proceeded to list the players in the league from Kentucky who would legit give an All Star team a run for their money.  Pretty impressive what Cal did at Kentucky, not impressive on him not getting more nattys.
