Sam Darnold threw an interception with time. Also he has had 3 years of tape plus this years. That is plenty to evaluate. 

The O-line sucks but it isn't 100 percent of the problem. A better QB could make this O-line work.

OL and the OL coach are basically the only scapegoats he has on the table.   OL coach isn’t a Rhule guy. 

OC is his best friend.  Sam is his handpicked QB.

Wrong wrong wrong.... Being sacked 8x isn't a sign of being protected.. And whether you can see it or not.. Having a bad Oline effects the whole offense.. Play calling, QB play, Defensive play, game planning...
