I decided to actually check the stats on this because I felt like avoiding real work instead...and here you go:

Nice work.  Thanks.  And yes, we are worse in every single aspect under Nixon.  Brady wasn’t the problem.  The problem rhymes with drool.

Come on. The comparison is not even close. But, Nixon has only had a few games, so I'll give him that  excuse (along with a lost HC)

No, it's not overall but in terms of specifically in game adjustments it is. Shula was at least good at developing the initial plan and carrying it through when it was working. But in terms of adjustments? His adjustments consisted of going to max protect with his checkdowns. That's it, that's all. The man could not adjust past the opening kickoff.

Shula actually had some pretty nice run schemes.   He would be a nice run game coordinator working under a good OC.

He might have to be because decent candidate aren't even going to pick up Rhule's phone calls.

Yup.  Which again why this situation with Rhule is so hopeless.

I had a friend yesterday as we were talking about our teams say something about what we needed to pick up in FA to fix holes on the team and I replied," that's not happening.  No self-respecting player with any aspirations of winning would come here to play under this staff."  If fans know it's a circus, players talk, so they definitely know.  Combine that with the offensive "scheme" we're actually seeing on the field, and I just don't see how Tepper thinks keeping Rhule is beneficial at all...  you can't improve if you have almost no draft picks and a league full of players that know not to come play for your egomaniacal, narcissistic amateur coach.  If Rhule is here for a third year, which he is all but guaranteed to be at this point, it will take us at least 5 years to dig ourselves out of the hole he creates.

I said it awhile back that we're basically the late stage Al Davis Raiders now. A series of knee jerk quick fix reactions predicated on overpaying because no one is choosing to come here unless it's for considerably more $$$ than other teams are offering. It is what it is.

Was the TD drive the scripted one?  I think it was.  We should just script the entire game.  What's the worst that can happen?  We score 10 points?

Just so someone says it:  We lost the second half, AGAIN.

We have been good on scripted stuff most of the year. When adjustments are made, we have no idea what we are doing.

So......they have no NFL ability whatsoever.

Well , you’ve seen the improvements.. His first game 6 points. Second game , 10 points. 🙄
It’s the process.🙄

🙄 Sarcasm !!

Actually the Panthers hung a Fifty Burger on the Saints yesterday. Of course we couldn’t see it, only Matt Rhule and his football mad scientist staff saw it…it must have been a sight to see, 1000% guaranteed!
