OC Joe Brady...

Looking at how good Burrow was with Chase and knowing all the other top players on that team, maybe Brady had nothing to do with their success. Same with many OCs out there. Having great players is a big part of their success. A truly great OC can make any group of players and adapt his playbook and still win.

Yeah, we've kinda been speculating that for awhile. Basically all Burrow and company needed was a modern offensive system instead of that leather helmet bullshit LSU was running pre-Brady.

The Bengals HC went 6-25 his first two seasons….and then he got Burrow and Chase.

Just remember that Joe Brady had 4 1k yards from scrimmage players his first year as an OC with Teddy bridgewater and then was given the worst line in the league with the worst starting qb in the league.

my guess is he’s a really quality coach, whose young and needs to grow but will find success in the pros if given an opportunity without literally the worst most important pieces on offense.

He was the OC for a NCAA Championship team and was on Sean Peyton's staff. I think that says alot.

That’s actually not correct.

He was the passing game coordinator and his main responsibility was talking to Burrow after each series and discussing what both of them saw on the field.

The only time Brady called plays was in empty packages.

    • I feel for Canales because BY clearly isn't a QB that he wants. But also, if we get rid of both and get a coach that can use Rico correctly, I'll take it. Rico with a coach like McDaniel breaks records.
    • maybe if we just remain a volatile fanbase we can force tepper to move on from bryce and canales. The rest of the team is ready to compete but now Tepper wants to stick by his guys. Making the wrong move again. I don't understand how these rich and powerful people are so inept.
    • I’ve seen them but it was usually because the player didn’t try to establish himself soon enough after being forced out. That was way too sloppy. That should be muscle memory.
