I mean Dak and the Center just blacked out and forgot they needed to toss the ball to the ref to set. Though he was old man jogging up from like 20 yards away so yeah not the best play call when you have no timeouts

Another reason you don't do a QB draw in that situation.. You're depending on a old ass ref to be in position perfectly to set the ball..

Omg that was stupid..

For real though, ref interference aside, that last play was a really really stupid decision.

That type of call makes more sense if going for a field goal and even then, I'd go down five yards earlier. Otherwise, you'd need five more seconds on the clock.

Watching this game shows a lot about coaching. Dallas has the better talent but underperformed with a mediocre coach in McCarthy. Kyle Shanahan is a great coach who played with an average QB and still won on the road.

Shanahan and Quinn should be pretty well acquainted.

Doesn't matter who your coach is if Dak is the QB. Dak hit his ceiling and the greatest coach can't overcome QB play and decisions like that with the game on the line.

Was not about that play.  Team did not look well prepared.  And they are not disciplined.  McCarthy just looked clueless on the sideline.

Cowboys losing always seems to bring a smile to my day.

Dak believing he could spot the football without the refs... hilarious.

Both teams kept shooting themselves in the foot.

I can’t decide if he actually thought they could get it spotted in time or if he thought the clock would stop since he slid. Either way. Holy poo.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
