Stupid. Let 20 seconds run off and throw a ball away and the run and forced to call a timeout.

Sometimes you don’t get WTF coaches are thinking. You don’t call a timeout to get ready for two downs to get a first down but you run which forces you to call a timeout.

They tried to run Mixon the play before and it didn’t work.  Gotta throw there but Donald just made a play.  Easy to second guess now

I can't even describe what I would give to see Cam get that moment with the Lombardi. Damn, he deserves it so damn much.

No he doesn’t. I love cam, but he never put in the real work to become a better passer. He could have done so much to improve his mechanics but never did. Coasted on his running ability until his freak athleticism aged out.

Sanchez was never that good, just had a good defense.

Marino comparison could be valid, but you never can tell.  They definitely need to upgrade the Oline though.  Maybe we can convince them to trade with us.  Top ten oline pick and they give us their first and second.

Bengals are a solid team, if they upgrade their Oline they will be one of the dominant teams in the league for years to come.

Took Cam 5 seasons, but yeah. Same type of QB. Playoffs possible but not champion or legend without a dominant D.

Burrow is a much better passer than Cam ever was.

He could be back but that org might keep him down.

Cam never had a competent offense around him either though, certainly not anywhere near the quality that the Bengals currently have.

I’d like to see if total flags how many were from that last Rams drive? Maybe over half

That holding inside the 10 was weak, but every other flag on that last drive was legit.

IMO that weak defensive holding call balanced out the missed facemask on the Bengals 75 yd TD.

    • Former league executive and current NFL.com analyst Marc Ross recently named his top second-year breakout candidates for the upcoming campaign. Ross includes Legette, who may be helped out by his team's latest first-round selection. He writes: Legette had a slow start to his NFL career, catching 49 passes for 497 yards and four touchdowns last season. Some of the struggles can be tied to his own growing pains -- he had eight drops on 81 targets, according to Pro Football Focus -- but he had also had to navigate the quarterback shuffle between Bryce Young and Andy Dalton early in Dave Canales' first season leading the Panthers. Canales recently said he believes Carolina has a DK Metcalf-like talent in Legette, who had foot surgery this offseason but was cleared to resume work in early April, and that having a full offseason alongside Young, who took a significant step forward in 2024, could lead to a breakout result in 2025. I anticipate it will also help that Carolina invested another first-round pick in a wide receiver, Arizona's Tetairoa McMillan, to complement Legette in the pass game. McMillan's presence, however, could take some pressure off Legette—who may be able to roam around in a more natural playmaking role. With the 6-foot-4 All-American likely to take on the bulk of the volume from Young, Legette should have some cleaner shots to break out downfield and in the box score.     https://pantherswire.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/panthers/2025/05/06/panthers-wr-xaiver-legette-top-breakout-candidates-2025/83475176007/?taid=681a4610ede05d000149b376&utm_campaign=trueanthem&utm_medium=trueanthem&utm_source=twitter
    • my understanding is a big time throw, could be a 5-10 yard slant to Adam Thielen given AT isn't going to separate.
