That’s not true, it’s been said by many sources.

Sheena Quick has her ear to the ground more than any of the national writers when it comes to the Panthers. She said he didn't want to come her back when rumors first surfaced during the season and implied it was partially due to the fall out with Cam at the time. I'm inclined to believe her considering all the news she's broke recently.

Doesn't mean that didn't stop Tepper/Rhule from trying to get him, which is probably why they wanted to talk to him.

wether or not watson is willing to play for carolina isn't the story.

this is.

wtf?!

Yeah. Regardless of your feelings on the morality of it, the idea of commiting resources (and likely significant resources) to a guy with stuff like that hanging over his head is just plain stupid.

    • Not sure how much he was a long term piece of this team.   Sucks to not have him as part of the rotation.   Looks like it's Lee Hunter time.
    • This post was an error. Oops and sorry for the errors in the previous one. Too slow to edit.   We’ll see what they do.
    • I am not sure he will put the over the games but we’ll probably have them.   Two things I am thinking.  We have 4 preseason games.  All the coaches have enough service time to know the standards that are in place for decades. If I recall it was play your starters just a series to start woth and build it up until week theee where play a lot and you have week four to set hour roster. Evaluate before cuts.   Bevell will certainly have the whole thing down pat.   I’d they don’t do the fries and frie air will worry too. Because it is set up to do that.     I have said since they went t three preseason people have to figure a new way are still feeling it out and trying things.  We don’t have to this year.
