I'm not a Charlotte guy. I'm  a panthers fan. Panthers have an owner who is now, at most, only half invested in the team I've been a fan of for over 2 decades....a team that hasn't had a winning season since he bought it and which seems to be not getting better, in fact in a crappy situation with a joke of a head coach that most people don't understand why he's still employed and a coach that the owner hasn't come out and publicly endorsed after word got out the owner was embarrassed by. 

Sorry if I don't share your enthusiasm for "sport" and love of city.

I appreciate Tepper's efforts to secure a MLS franchise for Charlotte and hope the team does well.

Having said that, the crown jewel of Charlotte's sports teams is his NFL franchise, an organization that has been terribly mismanaged since he bought the team.

Here's to hoping Tepper now focuses his attention on hiring a competent NFL executive to finally get the Panthers house in order.

Think of it this way...

Perhaps if he does want to focus more of his personal attention on the soccer team, he'll leave someone else running the Panthers.

If it's the right person, that'd be a good thing.

      I will dislike losing Necas but if we can unload KK too, that would be worthwhile. It gives us a ton of flexibility moving forward.
