I just heard about this while  listening to Colin Cowherd. If we had not been in such a hurry to move Teddy for Sam Darnold after one season  and pick up CJ Henderson (a player we really didn't need), then we could have offered a 2nd and 3rd this offseason and significantly uprade the QB position heading into the 2022 season. 

Wentz isn't elite, but he's a lot better than anything we've had in Carolina since Cam was in his prime.

Such a weird QB environment. You've got teams like the Lions and Seahawks willingly trading away elite franchise QBs. And then you've got teams actually giving up assets for dog poo scrubs like Wentz, us with Darnold, etc.

All the shoes are falling. Rodgers resigns, Denver trades for Wilson, NOW the Commanders trade for wants.  Where does that leave us?  If we are smart we hold tight and play the long game. The coach and owner have yet to show me too much smart.
