OK, well the reason they restructured him is because he has an insanely high cap hit coming up.  Either way its bad for them.

It is looking like the Saints and Panthers presentations did not wow Watson.    His search has certainly widened from what we were recently led to believe was just a two horse race.

TL/DR:  Whatever Rhule and Tepper said or did in their meeting with Watson, it apparently wasn't good enough to seal the deal (for now anyway).

Sure seems like Watson does NOT want to be here. Can’t blame him with Rhule being the coach. He is doing his best to find anyone other than the Panthers otherwise this deal would be done.
