At this point, I don't care where he goes. New Orleans has a terrible coach, aging roster, and awful cap. If he goes there, they are screwed in the not so distant future. If he goes to Atlanta, he has no one but Pitts, plus they will give up assets they will need to restock their shelves. If he comes here, we can build around him. If not, Rhule will win 5 games trotting out a has-been nobody QB or rookie QB and gets fired. I'll take that to set us up for the future.

Guys, this is clearly over.

The level of embarrassment as a Panthers fan is bag over head worthy.

To be out in the public eye for the last year and a half openly chasing this dude only for him to choose divisional opponents that weren't even in the mix until the last second is soooooo bad on so many levels.

We look like the biggest boat of losers that the NFL has ever seen right now. Between doubling down on Rhule, hiring the bum ass coaches to support him (McAdoo), giving up all sorts of assets for terrible players (Darnold), I just can't even process or wrap my head around how bad this is.

All time low as a Panthers fan. And, we get to get curb stomped twice a year by D4 in either a Falcons or Saints jersey while we flounder around with overpaid backup QBs and trade-able players with value that we hold onto until they no longer have value.

This is going to take so many years to right this ship. At least Clausen brought us Cam, there is no light at the end of the tunnel in sight here..

22 minutes ago, WOW!! said:

Again I'm trying to understand how Dennis Allen is better then Stefanski and a better rosters.. Since it's all about a coach...

Or why not Follow Flores to Pittsburgh??

Every teams pros and cons are different.  Tepper making obvious HC moves increases our pros.  Would give us pros the others don’t have.  We can't replicate Atlantas pros for example.

Pittsburgh doesn’t want him.

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
