Now that DW fiasco over, what's your plan?

I'll start:

With the nice cap space...

Trade for Minshew

Three quality Oline either in draft or FA

Edge rusher

Interior DLineman

Sure up the LB position...move Chinn to LB.

Get into the playoffs with better offense, QB, and defense.

It is all do-able if Rhule doesn't screw the pooch. Or fug him and we do it anyways.

If we think BC can handle LT--I am willing to pencil BC in at LT and go with it.

SIgn C Bozeman.

Move D. Brown to LG and maybe allow for him to compete with Jordan.  Maybe the new OL coach can make them better.
I like the trade for Minshew idea--send our fourth rounder to Philly for him.  Reminds me of the Jake Delhomme-type QB.

I've been lurking for years but I must say... why no mentions of trading(not a 1st or etc) for  Tyler Huntley? I saw enough of dude to say he has some very similar  traits Watson (on the field)has and still on a cheaper contract. I know Baltimore  is trying to figure the Lamar stuff out but trading for Huntley is more financially  important  for us because  we still have him at a lowered cap hit. Just my 2 cents but I'm just glad to finally  have to stop refreshing  about Deshaun.

Sign another OL upgrade and get a LB while there.  Wait for the draft and see how the board plays out.  I think we still gotta address OL there.

who knows regarding QB. I would rather get Minshew or Brissette type qb than drafting one in the first.  No since reaching as you are unlikely to better yourself in the end

Or hell, just roll with Cam and Darnold if Cam is willing.  With an improved line Cam might be willing to come back.

fitt can let worry about qb with the new coach next off season.

Its been reported that we like Willis the most

I do too--the most upside.  He is the only QB in the draft with star potential, imo, but he has high bust potential as well.  He is a year away from taking a snap.

Still, there is something there.

I think Fitterer is trying to tell us that there is not going to be a rookie QB drafted this year.   Just the way I read the last Gantt write up

    • take a  look around the league at other young Qb's around Bryce Young's age group  such as Drake Maye , Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix , CJ Stroud  & Caleb Williams who at the time like Bryce Young they also were drafted also joined teams with a losing record .the only difference with these Qb's is after joining their teams with a losing record they led those same teams to a winning record in a very short period of time .it's simply what you call a game changer & or elite Qb's & then take a  look at  the other side of the coin you have Qb's such as Trey Lance, Zach Wilson, Mac Jones, Justin Fields  & Anthony Richardson also like Bryce Young all first round picks who instead of winning either did not play or led their teams to a losing record while playing  just because Bryce Young was a #1 overall pick does not necessarily mean that he will become improve with time if history tells you anything it's matter of fact just the opposite . lBryce Young who has an overall record of 14-30 & wildly inconsistent & never in the history pf the NFL has a Qb 5'10" or shorter had a successful carrer as Qb in the NFL  you have to ignore alot of FACTS & be really ignorant to the FACT to think Bryce Young is the future at Qb if anything history is telling you exactly what ?..just saying

    • to me these two signings were so bad for the Panthers at the time of our young team. "Sean Gilbert was signed by the Carolina Panthers on April 21, 1998, after being traded from the Washington Redskins in a deal that sent the Panthers two first-round picks (Nos. 5 and 12) to Washington. The Panthers then re-signed Gilbert to a 7-year, $46.5 million contract extension on the same date"  The other was Jason Peters being picked in the First round of the 1998 draft. "Peter played for the Panthers from 1998 to 2001, appearing in 38 games (starting 20) and recording 88 total tackles, 7.5 sacks, and 1 fumble recovery His NFL career was cut short by a chronic neck stinger, forcing him to retire after the 2001 season
