For some reason people are; despite the fact they do nothing but push political agendas/Bash the panthers.

Legit only about 25% of their stuff is Panthers news, and its from their fake sources.

Verge (Natalie) has connections in the NFL and if you knew her, you'd know that a lot of what she hears comes true--and like any rumors or hearsay, some never materializes.  Those of us who have known her for a while understand that, and we take what she contributes with the understanding that this is not a news source--it is a discussion board.  She makes the discussions more lively and informative,  often giving us a peek into what the insider grapevine is whispering.  That is all this is.

She has one connection in the buff scouting dept.  there is no way she knows for example the top four for Terren Amstead.    If she would stick to what she knows and not try and be some inside source she would get more respect.  The cp3 guys basically blew her cover on the last podcast.   If you want to follow her twitter then cool but stop making threads on here like she is some insider savant.

Verge has sources just like Ellis does - different but from the same sphere of the organization/NFL personnel.

Some people just have relatives that give them tidbits here and there.  I trust Verge and Ellis over the relatives.

BTW, Honey Badger isn't off the table.

Armstead would be a good signing at a fair price.  I worry about durability with him though.

Would anyone be upset if we did the following:

-Sign Armstead, then our line would be: LT: Armstead, LG: Christensen, Center: Bozeman, RG: Corbett, RT Moton

-We then Draft Willis #6 overall

-We sign Fitzpatrick to be a one year stop gap while Willis has a true redshirt year to develop

-QB room is starter: Fitzpatrick, Backup: Darnold, 3rd string: Willis (one full year to develop and learn the game)

-We have faith in the future again

Nah, I'll pass.  Take the LT at #6, sign a FA QB to like a 3-year deal.  He'll beat out Sam, so we don't have to see that trainwreck this year and the team, while better, should still be bad enough to get Rhule fired.  We draft the QB next year and with a new (competent) staff...off we go!

      Who were we going to trade up with? The Dolphins wanted Proctor, the Rams were vehement on taking Ty Simpson, the Ravens wanted Ioane, and the Bucs werent trading with us except for maybe a kings ransom. Even if we wanted to move, we had no partner. Moot point.

      Devin Lloyd is a stud lb but who is next to him? Prince and Nic should improve. Lee was super value but i am not counting this fourth round chicken yet. I would expect some improvement; hope to eat my words w/ a top ten D.

      I mean I agree about diminished Cam probably still being viable. Even though it gave a preview of how teams would defend the pass against a limited QB. There was an issue with the upcoming contract he was due to get and his expectations vs the new reality of his physical status - that people tend to  overlook when looking back on it  It had an effect on things I believe   But I do have to ask… what about Tepper’s second major move? fuging clueless   I mean I would take even an injured  Cam over Bryce all day long.
