I vaguely remember Kilmer and Jurgenson. Pretty sure Jurgenson was nearing the end of his career when I started watching. Kilmer was around a little longer.

Yeah, I'm one of the older rats in the Huddle barn... but I can still take some of the young bucks on the tennis or basketball court on a good day.  The recovery days are now 3X what they used to be, though.  [sigh]

Anyone willing to trade up past us for a QB in this years draft gets what they deserve.

I like Willis but I’m not trading up for him or any other QB in this draft… if the Lions decide to go QB then more power to them.

Yup, this… and I’m not sure either one of these guys are worth the 6th overall pick.

How in the hell is Willis a better prospect then Justin Fields?  WTF am I missing here?

I dont necessarily think he is, based off the resume...  the QB class is just extremely thin this year, so guys who would've been projected bottom 1st/2nd round are now in consideration for Top 10.  Bad year to need a QB, but I still like Willis' potential.

He looks so small in those clips, and not as fluid as Kyler Murray or Russell Wilson

I’m concerned about this, seen several clips where he’s getting a little too cute scrambling around vs inferior athletes that could be a problem in the NFL

Look into Liberty’s OL. It was as bad as UNC’s the past year. Willis was playing hero ball which means he will have some bad habits and take some coaching to correct. He will take some work but has some skills that aren’t coachable like his arm strength. I think of him as this year’s Trey Lance and Pickett is more if the Pro Ready Mac Jones. Both have benefits and weaknesses.

there are metrics out there that are based on percentage of pressures that results in sacks, the number of pressures or how good or bad the O-line is therefore irrelevelent.

For example:

QB A is pressured 100 times takes 20 sacks.

QB B is only pressured 60 times but takes 15 sacks.

QBA at first glance gets sacked more but in reality QB does a worse job of avoiding being sacked.

It goes even deeper than this, however. Where is the pressure coming from? How quickly does it get to the QB? Is it after 2 seconds with the ball or 4? Is it due to the QB rolling out?

You can really get in the weeds of this.
