Everyone that says we should fire JB can't name a coach that would actually come here for what Michael pays coaches, dude is by far the lowest paid coach in the league, and his front office has done nothing to help build an actual playoff team. We lose when we shoot bad because we are one of the worst defensive teams in the league because of our roster, not the coaching.

If there’s one thing in the NBA that is more about coaching than players, it’s team defense. Borrego sucks.

Don't know why you guys would want Westbrook. If he's not THE man he gets unhappy and Ball is your team's man.

We don’t want him but the bottom line is I (and probably others) don’t see us being competitive until we get a big man. Until we clear cap space it’s just not possible for us to obtain an above average big man. Trading Hayward for Westbrook gets money off the book a lot earlier.

I keep seeing that we are interested. Any chance we trade Heyward and Rozier for him and then cut him? I don't want him dominating the Ball and hurting Melo's progression. Oubre could move into the starting rotation and maybe Bouknight, depending on the new coach.

This is the only way this would make sense. Westbrook would be the worst back court mate with Melo.

Dude is ball dominant as hell.  Pass him the ball and you won’t get it back.  I would pass as well

I don't see any benefit adding Westbrook.

Why do you think he has been with so many teams recently.  He doesn't mesh with anyone.   He can't dominate a game anymore and I definitely see much better options including standing pat.

The Hornets need defensive help.  They were one of the top scoring teams in the NBA.  We need a big man to improve our defense.  Plumlee definitely isn't the answer.

From everything I have read they are only interested in him to shed contracts in return and then his would be off the books next season. I haven't read anything about them wanting him for pure basketball reasons

    • Ok.  I see that signs may not obstruct others view.  That seems to be a pretty large sign, and since they are in the front, if they were to hold it up, I feel it would obstruct others view. I don't see the point in holding the sign in their laps. If I were in securities shoes, I would just tell them to put it up, so that I don't have to keep a constant eye on them because not everyone listens and will just wait until I turn my back to raise the sign again.  I see no point in holding a sign on your lap where it can not be seen unless you are just waiting to break the rules again. The amount of time they have "gotten away" with this is still irrelevant.  For all we know, someone complained they could not see because of the sign.
    • Cows fan with just some info.      Some good points from y'all but some that are poorly thought out too.   Dallas played the last game (Jets, 0-4) with 4 OL starters out, Cee Dee Lamb out, #3 WR Kavontae Turpin out (he's also the League's #1 returner), #2 RB Miles Sanders out (avg 5.8 ypc).  Dak is playing very well as is Javonte Williams and George Pickens.   Cows have a lot of offensive depth and talent and are/were the #1 offense in the League.  416 yards last week and close to another 40 burger.  They suck on D ! DC Matt Eberflus plays a very soft over the top zone.  Russell Wilson (NYGiants) shredded the Cow's D for 450 passing yards  (I think there were 7 plays of 30+ yards).  In the 2nd half of the Fudge Packers game Dallas D never got a stop thus there was a tie (40-40).  With only a D ranked around the middle of the NFL pack Dallas could probably be 4-1.   Their D sux badly.   They did get a few sacks (5) against Justin Fields last Sunday in NJ otherwise they gave up 380 yards against the Jets.   We are very familiar with Rico Dowdle.
