Its true. Happened well before the trade negotiations with us heated up.

Joe Douglas said he was undecided on trading Darnold at the time. They wanted to finish the evaluation process on the draftable QBs before pulling the trigger.

It's been discussed on here before.

Damn, he looks like poo. I hope he's okay. Like seriously. He doesn't look good. Like a chubby late stage spiraling with crippling heroin addiction Layne Staley.

I saw him with his wife the other night at the Billy Joel concert, walking out with the rest of the crowd. I told my wife, "There's Matt Rhule; he sucks!" and she shot me a dirty look, as if to say, "just let the guy enjoy a date with his wife." hahaha

He looked fine; taller and not as schlubby as he's looked in press photos recently. He was conversing happily with people passing by them in the crowd, and he seemed in good spirits.

As much as I dislike Rhule being our coach, your wife was right.

Yes, I see that.

Watching more today--Ian Rappaport suggested that the Ravens (14) and Eagles (15, 18) are potential trading partners.

Based on what Fitterer said about trading back into the "teens", I have to think this is a possibility.

Ravens looking at QB or CB to make that move?  Maybe they have Malik high.

    • I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....
    • It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.
    • That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
