The more I here from him QB is a break glass option behind the 3 OT and maybe 1 Pass rushers or trade down..

It looks like we want to trade down, which I can’t blame them for.  But it’s hard to pass up a potential Franchise LT

I found it interesting that Fitt said he notified Sam that we would be adding to the QB room this week.  Then he went on to say veteran options wouldn’t be looked at until after the draft.  
 

So he is basically saying that we are adding a QB at some point in the draft.  Of course that doesn’t mean in the first few rounds…could always be someone like Zappe, Strong or Purdy in the 4th.

They could trade for Baker during the draft if it involves us getting a pick from the Browns to take on a chunk of his salary. Maybe send back a 2023 conditional pick or something

Yeah I also wonder if we could trade for Baker while also adding a pick this year.  For example:

CAR gets - Baker, 2022 3rd rounder

CLE gets - 2023 3rd rounder, 4th rounder

Keep hearing lot of teams like “a couple of them”…feels like 2 go first round unless 1 goes really late day 1.  Hearing Baltimore might be interested in moving up from 14.  Wouldn’t mind making a deal there.

6 and a 5th

for 14 and their 2nd and 3rd works for me

I guess the Ravens would be looking pass rusher or CB there

      You don’t even need 1b because Tepper is the only one foolish enough to wheel that deal.    Player wise? Jake’s elbow. JR and Pep getting sideways, no Carruth, Cam’s shoulder, Luke’s concussions, it would be a long list of stuff. You can take it down to certain plays in games. Fox chasing 2 point conversions in the SB would be on my list. RMJr slipping at the end of that same game was not helpful.

      Ultimately this just amounts to heavy revisionist history. I mean you aren't talking to someone that just popped out the womb a week ago. I was here all throughout the predraft process. The overwhelming majority of the fanbase felt like this was a fine situation and the best situation for a rookie QB to go to compared to Houston for example. The hype for Young and our "rockstar" staff was off the charts. No one could dare speak cautious skepticism of his abilities or they would be neg repped into oblivion. Only after he had one of statistical worst rookie seasons of the last 25 years did we get this narrative now that his rookie season actually shouldn't count. Complete malarkey if you ask me.

      On the field? Since I guess it qualifies as multiple instances it might not count, but have the damn refs throw some flags on illegal hits to Cam's head in SB50. If that doesn't count, 1A. Cotchery caught it 1B. Kasey keeps that kickoff inbounds. Off the field? 1A. Team is sold to anyone but Tepper 1B. We have the patience not to mortgage the franchise on that Bryce trade. Stroudwpuldve been the better pick but he's not worth it either.
