Predict who we are taking

Okay, so let's put it into stone: Who do you think we're taking? Are we trading and if so, who with and who do we then pick?

Lastly, tell us who you'd pick.

I think we get Evan Neal after the early hits go for Edge rushers.

Who I'd pick: I'd want to trade back with Pittsburgh (I think they really want Malik Willis) and pick up Tyler Linderbaum and a second rounder +.

Scottie gets out his monopoly money and trades back twice in the first round. recoups both the 2nd and 3rd he lost. Takes those 2nd and 3rds and trades them back to late 2nds and 3rds for right about tree fiddy

and it was about that time that I realized that Scott Fitterer wasn't Scott Fitterererer but instead the gotdamn LockNess Monsta!

I told him I said Monsta! You ain't getting my tree fiddy!

We trade back with Phi for their 1st (15) + 3rd + Minshew.

Cross falls to 15.

That would be best case scenario.  Cross is who I want, Minshew is better than anyone on this roster, and we get another pick.  I’m gonna Cross my fingers and hope for this

    • I think what makes a qb elite is when every week you think your team has a chance to win because of your qb. No matter who they play, they always make you feel like you have a chance. I have not gotten that feeling once while watching Bryce.
    • Great point!  The quotes from O'Connell about teams failing rookie Qbs and the one about how you coach them after 3 picks and a loss were really interesting.  To me, an idiot with a keyboard, it means NFL teams need to be patience if they are going to have quality QB play. So bringing me to Bryce, is there some benefit to being patient.  I know it's not a particularly popular opinion around here, and even I am having a hard time wrapping my head around it.  Most QBs, when benched lose their confidence.  It takes a LONG time to get it back.  Bryce on the other hand was benched, and came back a different player.  I feel like that's worth a lot more than the physical talents of a guys like AR15... I think Bryce has the mental make up to be a good NFL QB.  His problem will always be his tools.  Now it's on coaching to work around that.  Bryce is more physically gifted than late years Drew Brees (low bar, I know).   While I'm content to see what happens this season, there's a small part of me that says...maybe we should see what grows?  (let me duck and hide from the well earned vitriol the Panthers have earned). Then again, I agree that some guys get it while others just don't.  I'm still hoping for the Panthers and Bryce to find success this season.  But if not, I won't be too surprised if the plug is pulled and there is a restart.
