Oh, to be clear I do too. You can get quality players in the late rounds but you very rarely get quality rookie starters in the late rounds.

You know whats funny,  chiefs turned around and got kinnard this year who i really like more than mays. So they got smith and Kennard in back to back years and we took brown and mays. Lol i would be lying if i said the thought of smith and kinnard at guard  doesn't excite me more.

I have read a few draft reports on Mays. Opinions seem to vary. Some folks see him as "too stiff" and not agile enough to play in the NFL. Others say he's a great value at the spot we drafted him. The videos I reviewed had him playing a lot of RT, but we seem to see him as a G.. He looks like he fits the mold of Bigger linemen MacAdoo mentioned wanting.

True that.  Several years ago I was on a nine hour international flight, stuck between a hogmollie sized young man in the middle seat and the bulk head.  Due to his size, he ‘over flowed’ the arm rest and about a 1/4 of my own seat.  He was sweating profusely throughout the flight and had eaten something pungent before hand.  It made the nine hour flight absolutely unbearable.  It was the only point in my life where I seriously considered ritual seppuku.

Sorry bout that, I tried to "suck it in.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
