Great thread--but Bryce sucks!! (just kidding). I love the topic. Gross was our best OL because he played LT--if you equate RT and LT, that is a mistake. However, Kalil did a lot that people did not realize--very intelligent at calling schemes. A very good if not great C. Wharton was SO valuable because he could play 4 positions on the OL at a very high level. Do not underestimate the value of his versatility. Not many guards can take LT duties and perform well. Turner was solid but started sucking after getting paid. Chris Terry was very solid here for 3+seasons. Where do I put Moton? 1. Gross 2. Kalil 3. Moton 4. Wharton 5. Terry

Its about at the point where we could have had an entirely different offense with the number of picks we’ve spent on QBs. These wasted picks are more devastating than anything else.

he was a new shiny toy. one of these offensive wunderkinds we drool over. he was smart, maybe even brilliant...it just wasn't until the 2nd year that we saw he wasn't interested in making Cam or the offense better. he was interested in building some awesome playbook and landing a HC job. i remember comments made after one game that he called a play that didn't fit the personnel he had on the field, like the ones who had practiced it all week were on the sidelines and he hadn't even thought to look who was was on the field at the time. in fact he didn't even care who was on the field or the situation...he just called plays on a whim.
