Why all the Robbie hate? I just don’t get some fans at times. He can put up good numbers. When you have sorry QBs throwing you the ball, your numbers will suffer.

He's all drama. He's a high maintenance fella. And it's gotten boring.

In all honesty, we should be worried about his mental health. This sport has proven year after year that is really fugs with your mental health.

I knew this post was coming. I think we need to wait until he commits a crime before we fabricate excuses for idiotic behavior.

I am curious to see how this thread goes in relation to who is more vocally critical of Robby and if they are also simultaneously in the "you negative complainers need to stop criticizing Matt Rhule 24/7" camp. Because we know it wasn't all Scott Fitterer's idea to build our roster around two New York Jets (lol) cast-offs.

A lot of it isn’t so much the player.  It’s the organization.

use Sam.  Sam is Sam.  If Carolina had let him get cut, gave up zero draft picks, gave him a Bill/Trubisky deal and had him being the backup entering last season.  He doesn’t get the harsh treatment.  We gave up a bunch of picks, paid him, and made him the man.   Expectations then get high.

Carolina overpaid Robbie.  He was a bigger cap hit than Diggs, Adams and those types of legit monsters.   So Carolina alters the expectation for him.  Which isn’t really Robbie’s fault.  He is what he is.  But he took the check.  And the check comes with expectations.

I like Robbie. I hope he has a bounce back season, and if he does, I’ve got this thread saved and bookmarked. If he doesn’t, I welcome all the “I told you so’s”.

He has had one bad year. He’s not trash. He’s definitely not the worst player on the team

And this is all Anderson's fault? Neither the OC or the QB has anything to do with that right?🙃

Let me inform you that in 2020, Robbie was one of the top receivers in the league in yards after contact (actually leading the league at one point in the receiver category).

And then he cashed out.

    • I think i like the Oregon Safety better
    • Do you see the vision?  As of now our Carolina Panthers don’t have an identity. We are not an offensive powerhouse and on defense we only started getting it together towards the end of the year last year. In my opinion we are much closer to having an incredible defense that scares the daylights out of people. I say the answer is simple and we fully commit to that possible identity.    Emmanuel McNeil Warren (E man)  This guy is like a shark lurking around ready to attack anyone. Fearless. He is easily a top 20 talent in my eyes, and the only reason he isn’t more talked about is because he’s from Toledo. Do your due diligence as panther fans and watch his tape I beg you. Once you’re done watching let me ask you this, if you dropped E - Man into the strong safety spot on the Buckeyes, he isn’t being talked about as one of the best prospects we’ve seen in some time given the skill set you see with this guy? I think so. Put his name on the card and turn it in at 19.    Jacob Rodriguez  High effort, High energy, High IQ guy that flies around the field. We all know Jacob at this point. My only concern is he’s a little bit too good and I’m not sure he makes it to us at our pick in the second. With the additions of Jacob and E- Man I think our defense goes to top 5 in the league. We would have a duo of linebackers that rival anything we’ve had in our past. I’m not a GM so I don’t know what the possible answer could be, but if there’s a way we can comfortably trade up in the second to secure this guy I think we find a way to do it.    Spend the rest of our picks fixing the O - line.    Thoughts Panthers fans? Who’s the ideal duo for yall?
    • OL is arguably much more important to the success of a young QB. (Or any QB)
