I understand his reasoning.  However, why not keep it to yourself?  As a former Ole Miss Alumni, I am disappointed.  I know several Ole Miss Alumni who are Panther fans.

Gonna probably guess this is kind of out of context.  Im sure he would have preferred more competition, but that sounds and seems like more of a coaching problem than a program problem.  Hes also echoing probably what a lot of players probably eventually feel when coaches sweeten the pot just to get a recruit they want to sign there.  Regardless, he has instantly become the most interesting piece of our training camp.

I get the impression this is more about his upcoming competition with Darnold and Baker.  Trying to make a point that he thrives on competition and that he should have went to a school that made him compete.  I doubt he has any issues with Ole Miss itself.

Corrall wished he had competed for a spot rather than switching schools. has nothing to do with Ole Miss.

It is well within reason for him to feel regret, embarrassment, and perhaps shame. It was probably the root cause of his depression and alcohol issues as well.
