Smitty came on to talk to Kyle Bailey on WFNZ and dropped these.  He seemed to really glow on Corral

The Henderson news I fantastic.

If Jackson, Henderson, and Horn can create a no fly zone back there then all we have to worry about is stopping the run… obviously easier said than done.

I like Corral's potential but I do think he needs a year of clipboard holding.

Maybe but I am fine playing him for practice this year. Especially if Rhuke gets fired and everyone is auditioning for jobs next year.

Keith Taylor has been nothing but solid as well. Gashing up our linebackers 5-10 yards at a time and the run game yeah, still a concern

Smiths player evaluation has been historically doodoo. Pretty sure he said Ryne Robinson was going to be the poo.

Had some good and bad, like everybody that makes predictions. His best was labeling Copper Kupp as the best WR in the draft when NO ONE ELSE even thought that. In fact that was steves beginnings and people were clowning him.... He was 100% on target with that given the recent triple crown....

    • How many elite QBs do we have right now in the league? And how elite are they, really? Mahomes - I seriously doubt anyone would say otherwise. My only counterpoint is that since Tyreek left, he has not been as explosive. Only one with a ring. Allen - Yes. His first year was rough, however, and even now, he's a turnover machine which has cost his team games. Wouldn't surprise me if he regresses as talent around him goes elsewhere. Burrow - Can say he got to a Super Bowl but injuries may be a concern. All those sacks he took may be coming back to bite the Bengals. Jackson/Prescott - Can't win in the playoffs even with rosters around them, so no. So there you go. At least in my eyes, there's only maybe 3 right now. And over the past 10 years, QBs not Mahomes/Brady that have won were (noodle arm) Manning, Nick Foles and Matthew Stafford. Even Stafford I'd argue was a one-shot because the Rams absolutely went all-in with talent.
    • Without Guentzel, the team has a better chance of being able to keep Jarvy long term, Noesen for another 2-3 years, Drury and Turbo maybe. And I'm saying that because I think Jarvis will make us forget about Guentzel.
