CJ Henderson

A much better bet, and an exponentially better deal than Darnold. That (and the Baker trade) is how you work the system. Wait until after he shows well during 2022, and then exercise that 5th year option in 2023.

Let’s not even discuss 5th year options yet. I get PTSD even talking about them this early.

Dude just finished year 2 and aside from DJ, our WRs are below/well below average in the NFL. Hopefully, they improve off of 2021 but even that highlight above looked more like a bad throw or bad route. RA has him easily beat off the line but the ball and route go back to CJ. If that throw/route goes toward the sideline where RA had a good step on him, it’s an easy first down or more.

Henderson has reportedly been doing well the entire camp though, so much so that even 89 gave him some props.

Good closeout by CJ, but why did they go for the jump ball pass when Robbie had him beat with good separation?

Potentially a high point rep? Hard to say without knowing if there was a specific point to this rep.

Wilks found what he needed to get him out of his shell. Speaks volumes about Wilks tbh.

Wilks took him out to dinner when they first got back. Doubt that happened in Jacksonville, sounds like he was caught off guard with a coach treating him like a human being

TMJ was tearing poo up last year, right? Did CJ get beat off the line in that highlight and did that look like a great route and throw to you? Be honest.

Well that's kind of the point. It's only one play of many. He got beat, but he closed well, and honestly even if the ball was placed to the outside, Robbie is probably headed out of bounds even after the completion. Robbie may have been initially looking for Baker to come back to the inside, I don't know, but I think that a better camera angle would give us a better perspective.

Crazy how these types of interactions are somehow shocking in this day. Wilks is old school, courtesy, treating people like you want to be treated. Just being a decent human being. It goes a long way today, simply because it's a scarce interaction or event.

    • Great season regardless of what happens. From starting out 4-14 to ending 44-38 is incredible progress and future is bright from here. I do think we can beat the Heat and then win on the road against either Orlando or Philly assuming Embiid doesn’t miraculously return sooner. But if not, a higher draft pick is nice too
    • I know a DT that's asking for a trade: 🤔 maybe a home discount can be worked out. Dan Morgan could create up to $80 million in space through restructures of stars like Derrick Brown, Jaycee Horn, or Taylor Moton. They could also include players like Tershawn Wharton ($18.6M cap hit) in the trade to balance the salaries. Carolina Receives: DT  Dexter Lawrence II New York Receives: 2026 2nd Round Pick (No. 51 Overall): A premium Day 2 selection that fits the for  Lawrence  after his 0.5-sack season in 2025. WR  Xavier Legette : A young, high-upside receiver who provides the playmaking depth HC John Harbaugh needs for his offense. 2026 4th Round Pick: Immediate mid-round value. 2027 4th Round Pick (via MIN): Future capital acquired in the  Adam Thielen  trade.  ----- Stone Forsythe* (another young player as a potential trade option)provides immediate offensive line retooling for HC John Harbaugh.    John Harbaugh's history in Baltimore proves he values draft volume over individual superstars.    Just my 2cents
    • Moved to Tuesday, not Wednes because of scheduling with Flyers game or something in Philly. But I don't feel good about the Heat.  It has been a great season regardless.  Team just been playing so hard to move up since a bad start and just picked a bad time to get gassed.  It's like almost everyone is shooting cold at the same time even wide open shots.   Maybe atmosphere and playoffs kick off a spark.  I'd rather be in a series than a one and done though. The team has a good foundation to build on regardless of what happens.
