Not the start he wanted, completely lacked composure today.  He should have been allowed to play behind a better offensive line.  He was rattled early and never recovered.  

You know what you have with PJ yet they insist on giving him bulk of the quality reps.

The problem is that he needs to be playing ahead of PJ right now so he's not playing with those scrubs.

Corral isn't getting cut over PJ, not after we traded next year's 3rd to go and get him, would be the dumbest move of all time.  Only way PJ doesn't get cut, is if we're able to find a sucker to take on Darnold's contract before final cuts need to happen, and if so, we'll likely then roll with Baker and PJ on game days with Corral inactive.

That's the size of it, but the haters are reveling in his misery. I never thought that I'd see the day, but this is the Huddle. 

His number of reps has been a joke, and the protection today was awful. He was rattled, which was an understandable conclusion.

      At this point, I think Chubba is the odd man out. I hate that, but I think Dowdle gives us more production and big play ability.  But there is still a lot of football to play.  I think it depends on how much Dowdle will want too.

      I’ve been anti-trade when it comes to Melo, but the way this season has started, it may be time.  I love his game and he’s a cool dude, but I’m starting to think, if he’s your best player, you’re never going to win anything of significance.  Too many brain farts, too many injuries, and ultimately for as fun and entertaining as he is to watch - his game is indeed a thing of beauty - it just doesn’t translate to wins.  And that’s IF he even plays.  I think it’s time to cash out and maximize the return.  I love Melo, but I think it’s pretty clear what the ceiling is for a team where he is the best player.

      Every NFL team, college program, hell even HS has numerous "what ifs" that got derailed by injury. It's a brutal sport and half the battle is just getting lucky enough to stay healthy. Doesn't matter how durable you are and how well you take care of your body everyone is one weird hit or awkward twist away from a career derailing injury.
