Guy was cut from a different cloth. I remember him making a catch, breaking his forearm from a hit, and still scoring a TD.

Absorbs two hits gets his arm broken in half in the process bounces off and scores agaist the Giants Matt Moore threw that ball....

Or in the 2005 playoffs when Jake threw a ball to Peanut Tillman and Steve Mugged him for it broke off and scored.

Does Justin Jefferson come down with that ball?  Does Stefon Diggs come down with that ball?  Does Davante Adams?  Cooper Kupp?  I would answer yes to all of those.  Because that's what WR1's do in the NFL.

RA did not.  Draw your own conclusions.

The safety made a great play. He’s a professional too.

Those guys aren’t perfect either. Sometimes the defender just makes a better play.

RA is our WR2. DJ is WR1.

Fair point.  When watching replays Robby had the ball in his hands before the secondary contact.  He really should have made that catch.  He’s being paid enough to make that catch.  Smitty made a living off making catches like that.

Every team needs WR2's as well. Robbie is not a star, but he's not a bum either.

He didn't get his hand on the ball. Baker got the ball in there. Robbie just needed to, ya know, catch it.

    • I said that way back because it is true. Teams aren’t trading what appears to be a can’t miss prospect.    In an extremely rare scenario like they have an established QB and maybe got the pick in a trade. Sort of like the Bears but with a better incumbent. If they’s have had someone significantly better than Fields they might have cashed in.
    • So you're saying you'd still go back and take the inferior talents, just because you think they fit with Bryce better, a player who is more likely than not, to no longer be a Panther next year? That's just crazy to say, wanting to have a worse player because you think they fit better with your awful QB is just dumb.  You take the best players, if your existing players then aren't good enough, you replace them later. It's crazy that there are still people with this take after they've seen what T-Mac can do for us in just 5 games so far.
    • I have seen Bryce make some outstanding throws but what he is up against is even when the WRs get a little separation, that tightens up while the ball is in the air. By degrees depending on the distance. Not as critical on the short stuff.
