massive bust confirmed

Can’t label him a bust just yet. Kid got dealt a bad hand IMO. In typical Panthers’ fashion, we placed him at a considerable disadvantage with limited reps and subpar supporting cast.

The good news is he gets a redshirt season to learn while rehabbing and, if he makes a full recovery, he has a decent shot at making the roster as top backup (Mayfield works out) or competing for the starting job next season.

How many non-Cam, non-Lamar QBs can make something happen with two DL in your face one second after the snap, though?

Right. And even they get eaten sometimes.

Corral does have tape easily handling free SEC rushers in space. The thing is, he calmly handles a single free rusher, but people expect him to superman 2-3 guys? Let’s be realistic.

Not sure you’re watching the right player then

His arm is average and he was getting caught from behind by 3rd and 4th string LB/DL. He’s not a bust and might be a decent backup but simms really sold it like he had Rodgers arm. And fans bought it.

Nah Corral I do believe was the best prospect, but he’s been an after thought at practice and then being thrown into live action. Not really a reliable way to measure a guy’s talent level.

    • there is one common denominator in the 2003 & 2015 Carolina Panthers teams they both had ELITE top tier Qb play.  it would require a MVP type of season from Bryce Young to have the same type of success that Jake Delhomme had in  2003 & or Cam Newton in 2015 & lead this team to a SuperBowl is this going to happen or is there any reason to believe Bryce Young is capable of playing similar to Jake Delhomme in 2003 or Cam Newton in 2015 ? well no there is no absolutely NO reason whatsoever to believe that this is going to happen in 2026 ..just saying
    • I'd actually like to see Cherelus get a fair shot to win the job in camp. Wallace is decent in drop zone coverage, but he gets abused in the play action game and is often times out of position in the run game. It might just be me, but I swear every time I watch Wallace play, I see multiple plays a game were it looks like he's just trying to be blocked. Watching Cherelus last year he at least looked like he was trying to hit someone on every play. Wallace plays like a LB who doesn't trust what he sees and it makes him passive and cautious versus Cherelus who regardless of if his decision is right or wrong goes at it 100%.
    • Agreed.  Hasn’t happened to me either, but I feel very strongly about it.  That’s not just one of the worst things a woman could do to a man, it’s a power inherent to only women and is one of the worst things a HUMAN being can do to another.  A man can’t “hide” a pregnancy or maternity.  It’s impossible.  And that sucks for anyone that has to go through that. I always got a weird vibe off her and just found her very unlikeable.  Annoying even.  I’ve always been good at reading people and there was just something about her to me that was off-putting, somewhere under the surface.  And here we are…  she is despicable.
