Why, an elite pass rusher would have made his mark at least once in this game. He is whiffing on running backs and has been completely negated. He does not deserve elite DE money.

Because, despite his flaws, he has worked his ass off and just isn't getting any help.

I have been super vocal about him leading the league in missed sacks every year, and if he could just pull in half of those, he would average 14-15 sacks a year.  And even today, it has been frustrating seeing him be in the spots, and is always a few inches off or away, or a millisecond late.  But he is still making an impact because we see him, and he's made plays.  But he can't do it by himself, which is essentially what we're asking him to do and he is getting beat down for it.

Snow can’t make these guys tackle and it’s not his fault that Brown does nothing and our DEs aren’t big enough. There are guys there to make tackles and they can’t. As much talent as some people think we have, we don’t.

You'd think Snow would know what personnel he has available to him though and TRY to coach to their strengths and not force feed his lame ass defensive schemes into the game plan?

Hell, I would accept 1/3rd of Snow's salary and outperform him by not trying to run a 4-3 or a 3-3-5 with defensive players that aren't in the right positions.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
