Also, let's not forget the reason they likely decided to play for the FG was because of the 4th botched snap of the day by Rhule's boy, Pat Elflein, whom he insisted on starting over Bozeman.

A large part of us playing behind the chains today was a direct result of that one specific decision that affected the entire game...  all from dumbass Rhule.

We had no offensive game plan, our successes came from three plays, one in which Ian Frikkin' Anderson was completely uncovered, one in which Sideshow Bob Anderson was missed in safety pickup (but he DID catch it) and one where CMC snatched up a muffed punt and ran it down the field dodging everything AND surviving a horsecollar tackle.

Pretty much our entire offensive output relied on massive errors by the Browns or one by ourselves. That ain't planning and that ain't coaching.

Our o-line was completely outclassed, our d-line did diddly squat, no one could tackle and it took desperation for the team to actually start using CMC, our star player. Oh, and why Elflein, why?

And then we played for a FG inside the 10 with over a minute left in the game????

Rhule, you're the chump we thought you were.

    • well i could go on & on but i will just highlight it by saying big difference trust me from the SEC & NFL.it's honestly like comparing apples & oranges especially when you are talking about a  LT. in the NFL you are going up against the most athletic freaks of nature the world has to offer . .the NFL also has much more exotic & complicated defensive schemes than what they are used to seeing at Georgis &  finally but most importantly you have to learn how to master complex bio mechanics where the body kick steps instantly as a reaction to these world class athletes rush without really making a conscious effort it's more of a learned muscle memory  & it can take thousands upon thousands of reps to master rproper technique for a LT in the NFL especially if you are still very raw like Monroe Freeling is    ...just saying
    • All that being the case or maybe being the case, we do not know Wharton’s timetable n the first place. They are being coy about it. Or maybe not. They say week to week the board says he is terminal lol and must be replaced. Who knows? It may or may not warrant a fairly drastic solution.  Walker is a bargain and we are not well stocked at OL despite recent investments. Freeling has yet to have a single padded practice. Too much speculation driving this plan IMO.
    • I would really love to know who’s actually making these moves because it’s weirdly vague who’s doing the hiring and firing.
