Just the NFL doing NFL things. They refuse to admit mistakes.

Burns should pay that fine in loose pennies.

The NFL changed the rules after the Cam vs Broncos game but never admitted wrong officiating.  Since that time this team has been fuggin cheated by the refs.  No other way to see it.

Definitely keeping this one in his back pocket for the next union meeting. Bargaining contracts are what they are when it comes to walls ( in contract negotiations) concerning personal harm. Human error is what is when it comes to calls by referees. None of that justifies the NFL dipping into a man’s pocket to cover their own mistakes….

    • Yeah, on D, no pass rush makes that almost inevitable.  It doesn't matter how good the back side of the D is. Almost any QB in the league can find a rcvr if he's not pressured.  Hopefully, that will be Priority One this offseason and we'll also see progress from last year's draft picks. On O, it does seem that we almost don't have a plan when we get behind schedule.  I know sacks and penalties derail many drives for all teams, but it seems like getting behind the sticks is almost a guarantee that on 3rd down we'll need 11 yards and do a check down pass to get 3 of them.  So, what's the solution?
    • Absolutely would love this pickup. However, he may opt to stick with the Seahawks since they actually win. As an elite field stretcher AND top shelf returner, he will have a ton of suitors.    Edit: I will caution that we ask our WR's to run block a LOT. Same issue that cost him snaps in New Orleans.
    • ....Yea, it literally wiped the smile right off Reichs face. We are kind of in the same position as Shitsburgh, looking for a QB.  They keep looking and trying to improve at qb but we just say: 'nah, we good'. The Dipper agenda keeps BY alive. To bad we didn't give Darnold or Mayfield that kind of time, They at least had the tools, skills and attributes of a QB. Its tough to win in the NFL, at least give yourself a chance.
