Are we the worst team in the league?

I cant disagree with the above comments about this team being low on talent

there is a lot of young potential on this team, but its far from a stacked roster. As of right now theres one perennial pro bowl level player on our team and thats McCaffrey

for reference our 2015 team had Cam, Olsen, Stewart, Kalil, KK, Luke, TD who you would consider “elite” at their positions for several seasons then you had Norman and Norwell with breakout years at an “elite” level and then our next tier of players like CJ and Star, then over the hill but still solid vets like Tillman and Jared Allen and you realize how far away this team really is from a talent perspective from actually competing. We have one great player, several good players (DJ, Burns, Chinn, DJax, Shaq, Moton) some potential great players (Horn, Ickey) and the rest are JAGs. Until we get a legit franchise QB or a generational DL that single handedly disrupts a game like Aaron Donald or prime JJ Watt we arent going to be a contender. Is what it is bruh

It’s Fhule. That’s why we suck. Then the players. There is no culture. No identity.  Players just don’t care.

I think it is too early in the season to make any kind of prediction like this. We have seen teams such as the Jacksonville jaguars have really good days then turn around and have a really bad day.  If I had to guess at this point,  I would guess the New York Jets might be the worst team.

The Jets won yesterday.

They actually beat the team that beat us...while starting their backup.

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
