Who's watching Sunday's 9/25 game?

If the Panthers fanbase were fair-weather, it would've ceased to exist years ago and www.carolinahuddle.com/ would lead you to "This URL Is Available On GoDaddy!"

You may have missed the point.  A panther board is not where you go to promote fair weather fandom.  That was the point I was attempting to project.

Actually, not a bad point.  With the way the coaching is going I would like the team to win enough to keep the players hopes up but lose enough to get the ^%^%^#^%*(*&^rule fired.  And Snow also.

I’m not letting myself believe another couple losses get Rhule fired, I’m prepared for an extended stay.

However, if we lose the next 2-3 games (if Tepper even registers as a human person) that should trigger a pressure release that sends tubby back to school.  (*Not a prediction just what should happen.)

Anywho, week 3 and I’m already in “just make it hurt” territory.

So let me get this straight.  You go to a Panthers Board to create a thread that informs Panther fans that you will not be watching the game Sunday.

Is there something I am missing here?

I think you can decide not to watch a game and not be considered a fair weather fan.
I watch every Sunday because I am hopelessly addicted to football. But, honestly, I have had the thought to not watch the Panthers until Rhule is fired.
I’ll never do it though, but I did have the thought.

I do believe the Panthers will be in line for a win one time this season, like 99% chance of winning with less than 30 seconds left, and Rhule will do something so insanely stupid that it costs the team its only win.

Something like icing his punter and it gets blocked and returned for a TD, or thinking it's third down when it's fourth and Baker takes a knee at his own 5 and the other team kicks a FG, something like that.

If you look at the guys who are active on Sundays at 1 p.m., not a single one believes they're going to win. They know going in that someone's gonna do something stupid, or the refs are gonna spot the ball 8 yards short, or Rhule will challenge a Panthers touchdown, and they will lose.

For nothing in this world is as certain as when the Carolina Panthers play an NFL regular season game, their opponent will win.

    • I would say that seems like an odd comment from Morgan, but at the same time it's almost impossible to find a college QB declaring for the draft to have less physical ability than BY so you can assume almost anyone you bring in would be your go to QB sneak/designed run guy.
    • Gronk is the best TE of all time, but he also played with Brady. Clarke was great, but had Peyton and in an era TE's didn't make crazy money. Kittle is great, but the two times he's made the SB, he was still on his rookie contract for one, and the other the 49ers had Purdy on a cheap rookie deal which help them build the rest of the roster. So again, it's not about not wanting an elite TE, of course it would be nice.  But realistically, in today's NFL, unless that elite TE with a top end TE salary is on a team with a GOAT level QB and/or other serious cap savings (i.e. key players on rookie deals), then I think it's not a good use of cap space.
    • This place was the poo pre tepper with tons of hilarious posters like phillyB. Joined in the 2000s during the 07 season and have been here bitching about this team since. but yeah its sadly been dying a slow death, every time I come to this site I am surprised its still up. I think the 2015 season was the absolute peak, the Panthers and this board especially just haven't "felt" the same since then. Igo should really sell the board since he clearly doesn't care anymore. Also, Reddit blows and the Bryce defenders on there need Jesus.
