So what's up with the batted balls?

Vilma kept mentioning it was our lineman's fault bc they arent chopping them down. Could be something there.

i don't wanna make excuses for baker but it HAS to be, right? we've had plenty of stank ass QBs in this town and this has never, ever been an issue like this.

i mean as offensive linemen you can hand fight to keep the DL's arms down without holding, right?

I've noticed that when the players on opposing teams dont get through their blocks.... they stop in their tracks and just watch the QB and then jump to bat the ball. I called that out against the Giants... i found it interesting because it seemed to be coached.

Baker's an easy target because  ...

A)whenever he gets in trouble then he automatically almost always rolls out to his right...

B) he sits & stares down his reciever leading the defense more than any other starting Qb i've seen in the NFL prior to releasing the football ...

C) & he's a midget with little man syndrome causing him to say things he can't back up creating unessary momentum for the other team to kick his & our ass with an exclamation mark.& moreover if not this year while being a Carolina Panther then well more than likely in the past he's rubbed someone on the oppsing team the wrong way with his big mouth...

D)& I honestly believe that the NFL has figured out this offense to the point that they are able to easily diagnose the play prior to the snap on at least 75% of their plays...

E) plus he simply sucks...

I have literally never seen anything like this in my entire life. He's on the shorter size but that can't be it, plenty of other signal callers are the same height.

I've never watched another team's games and seen anything like this, and we see it every game. It's absolutely insane.

Is it completely Baker? Is it really bad scheming with regard to opening passing lanes? Is it poor offensive line coaching?

This is a dysfunctional offense the likes of which I never thought I'd see rivaled after the pickles era and I don't know what to make if it mechanically.

Maybe the teams trying to get rule fired?  Maybe.

From what I've heard, batted balls are on the offensive line. Also, the playcalling is trash, the defense knows where we are going with the ball and when to jump. Mayfield was looking pissed at the end of the game and I think he knows the playcalling is garbage

this is wrong. He has the exact opposite issue. He moves through his targets too fast... that's why he misses open throws. There is hours and hours and hours of footage of this.

Fire as usual @PhillyB. You don’t see R Wilson, Murray, etc getting balls batted like this. It’s a hmmmm from me dawg.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
