He strongly insinuating this isnt an good job without a qb

Which, to his credit, Payton pushed back on because the situation of team with a QB having an opening is so rare. It's part of why I think LA(C) would interest Payton so much if it becomes available.

As a Saints fan, I would want to say hell no. I don’t want Sean Payton playing for somebody else in my division.

As a Panthers fan, I would say hell yes!!!  Just because a coach plays for your arch rival, doesn’t mean that he is a poor coach. If anybody can work with the offense and make a quarterback better it is Sean Payton.  This coach, took a bottom dweller team to the Super Bowl.

That being said my only concern is, what would be his cost. What would it take to get him out of the contract with the signs.

Not only to a Super Bowl, but made them relavent every year. We haven't had that in awhile.

Definitely can't give up first rounders though. Too many holes in the roster to play that game.

Sorry dude but Bienemy is trash. That's why no one has hired him. We don't need another Rhule.

Legitimately asking, aside from no one hiring him, what makes Bienemy trash and what makes him another Rhule?

Asking since Bienemy is not a college coach, has a great offensice scheme(sure with generational talent) and would not be given final roster say.

I am not 100% he is my dude at all but are you saying hire Payton?

    • I mean, he's a professional athlete.  What you think as a fan vs what he should think as a player are completely different.  Being bad doesn't mean you should lack confidence in yourself, and really that is true in all forms of life.  Do everything you want to do with confidence. Justin Fields sucks, but does he ever play like someone who doesn't believe in his own abilities?   Obviously you need more than confidence to be a high-level NFL player, and Bryce will never be that.  But he could still create 2-3 extra plays a game if he allowed himself to play more "free" like he did in the second half of last season.  The fact he refuses to use his legs to pick up yards nowadays hurts this team.  Simple things like that would go a long way for us, even if not for him.
    • I've always thought it odd that the QB is the only guy in the roster who carries a record. If a RB puts up 1200 yards but the team sucks then everyone still says the RB had a good year. If a QB puts up good numbers put the D is atrocious and the win loss record isn't great due to that then the narrative is that the QB can't win. Now that we're finding a way to win with suddenly dominant D and dominate running game people are trying to shift to this "Bryce is just a winner" narrative while he puts up bottom of the league numbers while near the top of the league in turnovers. It's just funny to watch.
