Check out New England today.

Umm ok?  Yeah we are no where near their level as a franchise right now.  Wilks didn't coach as well a Bill this week...  Keep in mind Wilks didn't help draft any of these players or hire any of this staff.

Nah, we were hamstrung by O game plan and PJ. Eason or what ever his name is got throws out immediately. Had he practiced with the ones and started I bet we would have won.

I was thinking the same thing. We need to cut or trade Robbie this week and let Marshall start the rest of the year so we can see what we have.  I’d start Eason next week. If he played well I’d consider riding him for the rest of the year even when Darnold and Mayfield are healthy. PJ wouldn’t see the field again.

Worst case we loose out, get the first pick in then draft, and get Eason enough experience to become a viable backup/spot starter to our 1st round QB selection.

Guy, this place has been a cesspool for two years and longer. Don't act like I'm bringing anything new to the forum. Rhule was terrible but was not the sole reason we kept losing. We're not going to magically start kicking butt. Not to mention we've been making fun of PJ for ages ... now all the sudden the kid is going to shine? So yes, I look forward to seeing people eat some crow ... IF THEY EVEN WATCH. So many members here say they're going to watch Buffalo instead lol. To that I say, go be a Bills fan then.

But who was shitting rainbows and acting like everything was automatically getting better? You were acting like there were loads of the and you were sitting there just waiting to piss on them?

And no ...it's nothing new, but it's an old schtick that needs to be retired, acting like everyone is all sunshine and rainbows oblivious to the reality that we suck when it's only a couple hopefuls out there.

That's because their gameplan wasnt sustainable for much more than a quarter.

Getting PJ sacked or having him chunk up INTs can also be delating to our team/defense early in the game.  His strategy was try to slow it down and keep it close to see if we can somehow steal this win with an incomplete roster.  It didn't work, but he kept it competitive for a half until McVay opened up the passing game and put pressure on our defense.

    • Only thing I really see it doing is possibly making Tepper listen if a different play caller can't run the offense because of limitations. New hire, someone who hasn't been watching Bryce for the past 3 years up close may be able to talk some sense if he sees that he isn't able to get the job done.

    • Not sure there is anything that will do that outside of Young actually being a legit top 12 QB. Where he won’t need excuses made for him.  It is just as likely to multiply them.
