Lisa McCaffery on CMC trade rumors

All I got from that is he hears the rumors but he's focused on the Panthers until something changes and her account of it sounded like him. The part where she says "if" he's traded she hopes it's to a contender or somewhere he can make a difference, I wonder if that's just mom talking or something he's expressed to her.

I heard when he isn't laid up in Olivia Culpo's baby maker that Christian McCaffrey is the hardest working running back there ever was. 200% effort every snap. DJ Moore could learn a thing or two from such a committed athlete.

lol your hate for him is so weird, sorry he pounded out your girl or whatever

I still think CMC has secretly asked to be traded.

None of our best players want to be here. Not firing Rhule last off season was a catastrophic mistake. Hiring him at all was bad enough. It will be a really long time before this franchise recovers.

This team won’t compete for 2-3 years. And even two years is still basically three seasons from now.

Trade CMC. It makes sense from all angles and this is coming from someone who has been against it until now.

If you can’t find a RB to help out your young QB your problem is your GM.

He wants revenge on McCaffrey and his fans because the team did Cam Newton wrong.

I know that doesn't make it any less weird. Arguably it's even weirder.

Cam is done that chapter is closed. Like you wanted revenge on Matt Rhule for making you look like a fool for initially supporting him? Does that sound ridiculous? That's because it is. I want to win. I don't want compliments for accomplishments while losing football games we've already been there done that it didn't mean a damn thing then and it doesn't mean a damn thing now. Our culture is a toilet bowl. Give me the sore losers and guys who hate to lose any day of the week over this nice guy family atmosphere crap.

    • Number 9  Carolina Panthers  Bryce Young, the first overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft, produced career highs in completion percentage (63.6%), passing yards per game (188.2) and passing touchdowns (23) in 2025. However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down. He threw for the third-fewest passing yards by a quarterback to make the playoffs in the last 20 seasons, per CBS Sports Research.  FEWEST PASSING YARDS BY QB TO REACH PLAYOFFS, LAST 20 SEASONS (MIN. 16 STARTS) PASSING YARDS PLAYOFF WINS 2012 Christian Ponder (MIN) 2,935 0 2008 Joe Flacco (BAL) 2,971 2 2025 Bryce Young (CAR) 3,011 0 2006 Steve McNair (BAL) 3,050 0 2019 Josh Allen (BUF) 3,089 0 Young did deliver some high highs, like when he threw for a franchise-record 448 yards passing in a Week 11 overtime win at the Atlanta Falcons and when he went toe-to-toe with Stafford in the playoffs in a 34-31 defeat.  Kenny Pickett couldn't win the Cleveland Browns' quarterback competition a year ago, and Will Grier is a career backup. • That thread has all the huddle legends either posting in it or mentioned in it. I remember everyone of those folks and I truly miss seeing them post here. This place was so much better with them here.
