I’m open to dealing literally anyone but you cannot miss if you’re going to deal Burns.

If Philly doesn’t include the Saints 1st rounder I hang up. It’s two 1st rounder + imo

Then there’s the whole we’ll have to hit on a pass rusher in the draft bit of this equation too.

This is one that could go either way. Because he hasn’t signed an extension yet has he?

no.  and this is a sticking point...if his agent tells us he doesn't want to be part of hte rebuild, unknown coach coming in, and he'd be reluctant to sign with us....we'd have to think about it seriously

It makes sense if you don’t wanna pay him and start young again at the position. Big risk you don’t hit though.

That’s true as well. If he doesn’t want to be here or we don’t want to be the highest bidder.

This. The key positions are QB, pass rusher, OT, WR, CB, and DT. That's just IMO. We have some pretty damn good players at all of those positions except for QB. Deal Burns though and now you're devoid of talent at two of those key spots. Not to mention still having needs among those positions. We still need to find an edge opposite of Burns. A long-term DT beside Brown. A running mate opposite Moore. We have enough needs that moving Burns has to net a MASSIVE haul. Someone would have to come with more than "good" value. We need to commit highway robbery on someone to rationalize the move.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
