The Rams' coaches apparently did a thing called watching film on him and designing plays to match what he does well.

I guess the analytics said that was not a wise use of our coaches' time.

It's not secret he had his best numbers in Cleveland rolling out of play action. He didn't even need a running game to do it tonight, Cam Akers doesn't scare anyone. We had the better O-line and RB group and still couldn't get a power run game/play action system going

Hey Ben. How about designing a game plan for the players we actually have.

You understand that the playbook is the playbook at this point right?

Both on offense and defense.

Just because Rhule was fired Wilks can't have a whole new offense abracadabraed out of thin air.

We are the laughing stock of the league rn

Deservedly. On the shortest of weeks, in Primetime, for the world to see in neon lights, we are the biggest joke in the league right now.

And Matt Rhule manged to get another job. Dream big because you can do anything, kids.

Sure they can invent new plays. Yes, they aren't going to reinvent the wheel but they sure as hell can stop something if it's not working.

It's called adjusting. The offensive playbook was poo the first 5 games and has been ever since. You can change plays. You don't have to change the entire playbook but trying to run RPO with a QB that can't run will not work. There are things that could be pulled out of the playbook and new things put in. It's not like Baker has had months to learn an entire new scheme in LA. He had 2 days. They made a plan that fit the QB, not make the QB fit the plan. And he looked better tonight than he has in months in Carolina. Wilks is the HC. He can tell Ben to stop running the stuff that doesn't work.

Crowning baker after he defeats the raiders. The same raiders that got out coaches by Jeff Saturday, who had never coach a game......... Hmmmmmm

Not crowning. Simply stating the reality that he looked a lot better after 30 hours with McVay than he ever did here, even though he was working out of a heavily trimmed down playbook and backup WRs and OTs. Make no mistake about it, the entire league is laughing at us right now.

It’s more a clowning of our poo coaching staff than a crowning of baker. Just pure coincidence that he looked like he Clausen while he was here and looked like an actual NFL QB after 2 days of joining a new team

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
