give Darnold another shot...I don't think Baker has reached the point yet that affects our trade with Cleveland (think it's a 5th unless he plays 70% of our snaps, or something like that, then it becomes a 4th.)

Just play PJ. Baker sucks and playing him will result in parting with a higher pick. Darnold sucks but could have a brief period of success like at the beginning of last year and we can't afford that.

Always play to win and Baker just can't do that. Honestly, PJ really can't either.

That leaves Darnold and call someone up for or to the practice squad.

This is a suck season but any coach or player that isn't playing to win right now doesn't deserve to come back.

I think that at this point PJ gives us the best chances of winning, by a lot. Which is just frikin sad!!

So, I guess how you vote on this depends on if you want to win or not. At this point the majority seems to not. I told my dad yesterday that I can't help but want them to win while I'm watching the games, but I sure don't get all sad any more when they lose.

BTW: we need to make sure Baker does not hit 70%. A 5th for him is still getting fleeced.

Honestly, the best situation is that Darnold balls out and we can use that top pick on a different position.

At this point in the season you might as well throw Darnold out there. Dude is making almost $19m from this team to do JACK SH*T. Baker is garbage and PJ is hurt and inconsistent. Darnold sucks but maybe he could be a long term backup. I imagine his career going a lot like Blaine Gabbert’s has.

I want Walker to play, but I think he may not be 100% yet.  So I would say Darnold.  Baker needs to hold a clipboard the rest of the year.  I have seen enough.  We really don't need to give a 4th rounder either.
