Really??

Maybe he just has super slow acceleration then. Seemed like he was running in slow motion when he got the ball

Go check out his Miami highlights.

He used to be the Gunner for us on STs (as well as the starting RB, obvs). Dude is quick in a straight line.

Lolol I like this but at the same time that’s a lot of improvement from a disastrous failure to mediocrity. Next stop might just might be success lol. 2- games from now we could be leading the division.

id be fine with wilks being hired as head coach..team has taken own a whole new demeanor since he has taken over..dont pull a raiders who had the right man for the job as well but went with the sexy named coach and turned out to be a disaster.

The problem you have is that the NFL has moved on.

We dominated the lines of scrimmage and time of possession today and only won by a TD. You literally have zero room for error playing how Wilks likes.

Awesome game!

Chuba had the game of his life.  No drops, a bunch of yards, several  first downs, a risky reach for a TD.  Could Rhule's wife been right?  Naaah.

Geno looked like shlt.  Jaycee intercepted 3 times, only 1 counted tho.

We beat a team with a winning record on the road.  It helps that their injured QB kept throwing to our team, but I'll take it.

ST has taken a big step back.  They had two big kick returns.

Nahhhh man if you are good enough you can run it and they can't stop it just like today.

Just impose your will. Hell if you execute you can tell them the play.

Most games are decided by a score or less.

Regardless, I think Wilks is playing how he HAS TO play. The run game is our strength. We don’t have the QB or WR talent for a pass heavy offense.

The scoreboard doesn't lie.

yes it does..that garbage td by the hawks was just that..we dominated them..i get it though hiring a sexy name is cool it gets the talking head talking about us..but a sexy name doesnt always mean wins..see the raiders..their interim coach was far better than what they got now

I hoping he is having the offense play that way because he doesn’t trust Darnold yet. With the right QB maybe he lets the offense roll.

    • With the contract money an OT first rounder makes you can ALWAYS get a new girlfriend.  And probably an upgrade at that.  You only got 2 parents.
    • Brother. You are wholly confusing comparing situations and applying actual standards like most other franchises do like simply getting into a playoff series and winning at least 1 or 2 series games with praising. Nobody is praising the Hawks. Nobody is praising the Magic. Nobody here likes those teams. But reality is reality. The Hawks like other franchises have traded players fired coaches etc but they can still win a couple playoff games. How is that not the bare floor for you or anyone else? What are we doing here if it isn't? We've seen eye to eye on many things over the years. But you are in the camp on the Hornets where you are emotionally attached to LaMelo where you feel the need to carry his water like he's got that juice. That's cool that you feel that way. It's your prerogative. But I differ from that viewpoint entirely. If he had that juice we would not have gotten wiped off the court in 2 play in games with 2 different coaching staffs and rosters. if people don't like hearing that well I'm sorry but how the hell is this team ever going to get better and ultimately go anywhere in the postseason if we just blindly pat them on the back for getting their asses whooped before they actually even get into the real playoffs? There seem to be some Bryce Young level standards being applied here. That's wild to me. But to each his own.
    • Proctor/Freeling were always the belles of the ball where we were picking. What those two *could* become at OT was far greater than what others could be at their respective positions and I’m glad our FO could see that.
