Can Tepper find anyone better than Wilks?

Seriously, for those who think the Panthers should still find a new HC, do you really trust Tepper making the decision?

Wilks may not be an offensive guru or genius this league loves. He's an old school, ground and pound, and strong defense kind of guy. Very much like Rivera in a way.

However, he is a leader of men. He has shown time and time again he rallies these players into believing in this team. His leadership may be the most underrated aspect of what a head coach needs to succeed, and may truly be what could make this organization great in the future.

In my opinion, it is far more likely for Tepper to botch another HC pick if he moves on from Wilks. 

I'd say: stick with Wilks, find a great OC to pair with him, and let him lead this team of men into believing.

I still think we should research and conduct interviews and ensure we make the right decision. If Wilks is the man some of us believe him to be he will have no problem with us doing our due diligence for the good of the franchise.

Bro you are criticizing Tepper yet he was the one that brought Wilks in this year. Rhule didn't want him on this team. So yeah I think if you want to make Wilks the Bar Tepper could find a better coach.

If Wilks wins the division, he should without a doubt get a couple years to prove his worth.  Any new coach is an unknown.  Let Wilks fill out his staff in the off-season (to include a new OC).  Use the draft capital to keep adding pieces and see what happens

I like Wliks as a legit HC candidate.  My main problem is him finding the real deal OC.  No hot name is going to make a lateral move which means he's going to have to go after a relative unknown.

One mistake at HC doesn’t mean he’s incapable of finding one next time. And we weren’t the only team very interested in Rhule, unfortunately he is a much better conman than coach.

The Lions were able to figure it out at OC, so why cant' we?

The issue will be, if somebody takes the coordinator, can they continue that run of offense? If they drop… that’s the problem. Offensive coordinators who do well get poached by other teams.

And so should McAdoo because he turned a rag tag offense into a playoff one in one year.

The other side of that coin is most of these hires end up like Nathaniel Hackett or Josh McDaniels or Matt Nagy than they do Sean McVay.  Depending on how we finish this season, I'm not sure its worth giving up Wilks to roll the dice.

After calling Marty Hurney a genius and giving Rhule a 7 year contract w/full control, does anyone in their right mind want Tepper leading another search? 

If Wilks wins the NFCS he deserves a shot as HC.
