Yeah, no matter if we like it or not, it's trending a certain way. I'm still highly skeptical of the way the offense is being run. Personally, I can't help but feel that ultimately we'll end up in a similar place within three years if Wilks is chosen, but I'll hope that I'm wrong and hope for the best.

If we win out Wilks should get the job. But if we win out while basically minimizing the QB position McAdoo has to go. I just don't know if Wilks would have the guts to make that call.

You know how you solve the "always losing our OC dilemma"? Always have an apprentice in waiting. He will know that when the current OC leaves, he steps right in. Then he hires his apprentice. Rinse and repeat.

Wilks get to be HC, and we never run out of OCs.

This team is playing old school football right now.  Heavy Run, solid Defense.  They can make a stink if they keep it up.  I'm actually excited to watch this team again.

It looks like Playoff Football. Don't know if it will happen this year, but man, it sure feels like the start of something big.

If I am tepper I am staying with the hot hand and taking the interim tag off

The players are playing for him and he has resurrected a dead team, I don't see any superstar coach's worth hitting the reset button for

And I got to thinking, this is why you fire a bad coach early, to see how your players play under a different leader, Mr Richardson was too polite to fire a coach mid season

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
