Sounds like a 4th or 5th round draft pick not 1st!!

Unique physical specimen to be sure, but is SUPER green. Big, fast and strong arm---that's all the Huddle needs.  Production is simply an nuisance that is an inconvenience to their man-crush.

Tankathon has us at 9.  Didn't our staff think of Corral as a first round talent? I would rather see us trade back and take the best available te,wr, edge, or lb. We could get a qb with the added draft picks.  Anthony Richardson isn't turning into Josh Allen.

I don’t think they saw him as a 1st rounder. They wouldn’t have waited until halfway through the 3rd to draft a 1st round QB.

How?  How will the qb position work itself out?  fuging a we have tried that 3 years now.   It doesn’t work like that.

I said with a good team and HC. Not Rhule and whatever we marched out there calling it an o-line. Maybe add a WR or TE and a coach with a clue of offense and that will be a better approach than reaching for a QB that'll need 2 or 3 seasons before looking like a pro.

SF has Mr. Friggin Irrelevant out there winning division games because they've focused on improving the team. That and a HC that has a clue of offense.

My friend is a Gators fanatic and he said he was definitely not NFL ready and too green as you said.. he was like I hope you guys don’t draft him in the first round.. he’s not worth it.. maybe a later round risk

Tepper wants a quarterback, bad. He saw how the team missed out on Herbet, when Hurney was denied the go-ahead trade with the Giants — rumor. He reportedly wanted to trade up for Burrow as well. Then there's the talk about Tepper also wanting Fields but being denied again. Then we have the well reported off-season where the Panthers tried trading the farm for Watson.

I cannot imagine a scenario where Tepper goes another year being denied a quarterback.

If Tepper sees a QB in the draft he wants, I think he'll do whatever it takes to get it and not be denied this time.

I only hope he doesn't pick the wrong one.    (yeah wishful thinking I know)

Aren’t you a fan of drafting a TE? How much production do you think a rookie TE will have next year?

Same. Which is why I was very pro tanking this year to limit what we need to trade

I’d do this in a heartbeat btw

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
