After having a chance to learn more about Frank Reich, I'm starting to feel pretty good about the Panthers future.

Well done David Tepper and Co.!

Just imagine where we would be had we hired him before the Colts did. Along with a new GM to help him.

That thought had crossed my mind during the last 24 hours.   However, while it would have been nice to never have experienced "The Process", I'm sure we'll appreciate Coach Reich all the more for it.

I sure hope so. The Over the Hill Gang doesn't have a lot of time to get the first SB title for us. I hope they have a lot of young apprentices on staff to step in when they retire.

I think back to a saying a senior staff member of mine had hanging behind his desk. It read "Old age and treachery best youth and exuberance everytime". Obviously the author was some old guy unknown.  I guess we are about to see how true that is.

CBS Sports' Josina Anderson reports "momentum is gathering" for the Panthers to hire ex-Broncos coach Vic Fangio as their defensive coordinator.

Coach Frank Reich wants Fangio on his staff, according to Anderson, with the Panthers considering making him the highest paid defensive coordinator. Miami has also been connected to Fangio, who interviewed with the team this week. Fangio has a history with Carolina, coordinating their defense from 1995-1998. The 64-year-old coach has been one of the most coveted coordinators during this coaching cycle.

All I ask is please don't go after Carr/Jimmy G.

Those guys are taking us nowhere. We can't keep repeating the same mistakes from the past. We have to go all in on Stroud or Young. No more bridge QB's please!

If we pull off Fangio and Stroud I dont think I could be happier, which is weird to say about Reich. But man what a dream that would be.

sorry to burst your bubble, but outside of the top 2 QBs it is best to have a bridge QB and I dont think we are getting one of the 2.

You can get a bridge QB without having to pay up for one of the top Free Agent QBs, if we dont get Young or Stroud we'll still more than likely take and develop a QB in the first that'll be the guy no later than Week 1 the next season.

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
    • I'm not so sure. Something about the whole Frank/Bryce situation seemed off from day 1. Bryce didn't fit Frank's QB mold as well as Stroud, then he basically gives up when Bryce is named starter in preseason but gets virtually no reps in games. Then he looks completely unprepared and Dalton steps in in Seattle, has a decent game under immense pressure, and it's right back to Bryce. All his mechanics are terrible and he's having the worst rookie season ever and Frank doesn't bench him?  You dont have to be a conspiracy theorist to know Bryce wasn't ready to be a day 1 starter. Everything with Bryce, then coaches, and the FO seemed forced.
