I literally advocate for trading up to number 1 for CJ Stroud in every thread. I’m just pointing out the notion that only Josh Allen improved his accuracy from college to the pros is inaccurate. Look at my post history. I’ve been leading the CJ bandwagon since like October.

Do you think AR = Josh Allen?  Who else is AR?  Cam?

BTW…one thing we have never seen is a run heavy QB surviving very long…even Cam.  Risky proposition

If I am not mistaken, they met with hooker twice.  That could mean that he is a fallback, or he is a sleeper hidden behind his age and injury.

You have to look at it this way:  Hooker plus this year's second and a first in 2024 and 2025  or Stroud? (for example)

No I don’t think AR = Cam or AR = Josh Allen. I don’t think there’s a good comp for AR. We’ve never had a dude at this size at QB as agile, quick or explosive, with a rocket for an arm, with as few starts in college as AR. Comps are usually silly but the Cam and Allen comps for AR are lazy to me.

Look. If the panthers brain trust thinks honey is the guy, I’m fine with it

I just think. Cj. Bryce and Ar are special

thwre is something about cj that bothers me. Not sure why as I’m a fan

anybody but Levis ls. The gut did nothing in comparison liege and couldn’t make it at Penn state

He is an amazing athlete.  Agree.

We are on record you want to trade up to #1 with what that will cost for CJ Stroud,  right?

Could be smoke with all this move up talk and we move back and take Hooker later in the first round.  Perhaps we could move back up into the back end of the first round and take him there, taking BPA at #9.  Either of those scenarios I like better than moving up. I mean, everyone wants a rookie QB this year, right?  So they should be happy drafting Hooker.

With a staff that we've assembled, I'd be okay with trading up to #3 and getting whoever falls. That way we're - theoretically - giving up less than what San Fran gave to Miami (1st round swap from 3 to 12, a '22 first and 3rd , and a '23 first.

Yes absolutely. I’ve pounded the table for Stroud since October. I would rather move up to 1 and get our guy than move to 3-5 and HOPE he falls.

I like your conviction man.  Personally I am not giving 3 firsts for any 1 guy unless it’s a Manning

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
