I'm very reluctant to trade for a receiver.  Essentially just makes the trade up to 1 that much more expensive.  Unless it is a gamble/steal such as trading a 6th for Elijah Moore.   Sign a FA and work the draft.

The WR FA market wasn't great and now we are down to scraps. I've loved the overall plan so far, but WR is a concern at this point. Chalk? Thiesen? A trade?

There will be some movement but might as well come to terms with the WR corps not being completely fixed this offseason. Next offseason we should be able to get it where it needs to be.

Someone mentioned Darius Slayton in this or another thread. Based on his highlight reel, he looks like a decent replacement for DJ Moore.

For RB depth, we could grab Rodriguez out of Kentucky (or a similar style rusher) in the later rounds to complement Sanders and Hubbard if we don’t bring Foreman back.

UPDATE: Slayton reportedly signing with the Falcons. There goes that idea.

Relax we’re fine. 4th day of free agency we’re being patient there’s a plan trust in the front office/coaching staff they know what they’re doing

    • The Athletic posted their goalie rankings for the season... The description of the tiers are as follows... Where would you rank Freddie and Pyotr? And don't cheat and look up the article. I'll post their ranks and the link in a bit.
    • Refs will be in their pocket. Always have to account for that. They are 20th in rush defense. They currently have the worst pass defense in the league. I mean I want to say even Bryce could at least put up 250 or more passing yards given that but man he looked BAD when the pocket collapsed against Miami and they had the 20th pass defense. Just can't expect to consistently get clean pockets like that in this league even with the better OL's. I'd say with this being a home game hopefully our guys will be motivated regardless. We certainly seem to play much better at home. We'll see.
    • They'd never do it, because it really would be insane to do, but if I'm the Commanders, I'd seriously consider trading Daniels after this season, especially as he'd get a HUGE return for him. He's RG3 part 2, with his body type and style of game, I just can't see how he holds up long term, he's going to end up having a seriously injury prone career. It would take some massive balls (or pure insanity) to pull the trigger on trading him, but I do think 5 years from now it would be looked back upon as a smart trade.
