I think that's coming via the draft. If the draft worked out perfectly for me, we take a TE at #39 and then a WR in the 3rd, maybe even using one of our 4ths or our 5th to package with #93 to move up in the 3rd if we need to. The guys I have in mind are A.T. Perry and Cedric Tillman.

Either Kincaid or LaPorta should be available in R2.  I would run to the podium for either.  A quality, big target TE that can sit down in the seam is a warm, cuddly safety blanket for a rookie QB.

Check out walterfootball grade.  LOL.  Dude has good content on his site but this one is way off:

I don't understand this move. Bradley Bozeman struggled last year, performing like a below-average starting center. I considered center to be a need for the Panthers, but they apparently disagreed, re-signing him Bozeman to a 3-year deal worth $18 million.

I suppose one could make the argument that Bozeman is coming off a down year because he missed time with an ankle sprain to start the season. This is why I won't fail the Panthers for this. Besides, this isn't an egregious sum of money.

NOW CUT PAT AND THATS OVER HALF BOZEMANS SALARY THIS YEAR!!!

Would be interesting to know what Campen thinks about Eflein.  Would he pound the table to keep him or just shrug his shoulders.  None of us know what Campen thinks but I’m sure he is giving input to Fitterer.

Can't allow Carolina any good news, the media have been trying to spin everything we do is sh*t ever since we dumped their golden boy in Wilkes.

    • This does feel like Freddie last year. Maybe, ole maybe koochie can be him.
    • The trend seems to be we play our worst games coming off our biggest wins, so I imagine we're probably getting blown out. But you never know. The 49ers defense is not what it once was. I mean, Jacoby Brissette just set the NFL record for completions in a game against them this past week. Bottom 3rd in the league in pass defense and middle of the pack in run defense. I actually think our best strategy in this game might be to come out aggressive throwing the ball the same way we did against the Falcons. Put TMac in the slot some more, send XL deep and let Coker work the intermediate areas. Put Bryce in the shotgun and go full spread. That seems to be where he is at his best. Let the short passing game function as a de facto run game of sorts, keep the clock moving with short passes and hope we can sustain some long, time-consuming drives.
    • I don’t care. He’s got bricks for hands and consistently fugs up drives because of it. So does JT Sanders. So does bi-weekly Legette.
