Man I love TD but I have a very hard time believing that. The front office and staff really seem to have everything we would want for drafting and developing a QB. With Reich and McCown on the team I don’t see any way that they love the tape of AR over Young or Stroud. No way Fitt or the coaching staff have enough insight with TD to disclose that information, and surely he knows it would be a bad idea to leak information to the press like this being a our Panther legend. This has smoke screen written all over it like someone up too wanted this to get out. The team said you had to have conviction of a player to move up and I seriously doubt they were thinking AR when they moved up.

I agree. No way TD would disclose info from our top office guys like that. If he did that no one would be leaking info to him anymore and neither Fitt or the coaching staff have ties to TD at all. This seems like a planned leak.

AR is definitely being considered which is why the trade back rumors have surfaced.

 

If we stay at #1 I would be shocked if the pick isn't Stroud or Young.

 

AR going #1 is just too bold.

That argument really doesn’t work that well when you trade up to the #1 overall spot.   You don’t need to fool anyone.  No real purpose
