bears fans on twitter are insufferable.

every move we make, every post about a move we may make:

"LMAO HELLO TOP 5 PICK!!!"

They deserve everything coming their way. They will have to watch our QB1 thrive while figuring out that Fields will never develop into a top tier NFL QB.

No way in hell this team finishes top 5.

Rams

Bucs

Falcons

Colts

Packers (minus Rodgers)

are easily and handedly the worst 5 teams next year

Then you have Tier 2 garbage

Texans

Cardinals

Titans (no Henry / Tannehill)

Broncos

Ravens (if they lose Lamar)

How did Falcons get worse when they lost nobody and added 4+ starters on defense. I bet money those are the 5 worst teams, way too early to tell.

It’ll likely be 16 or higher cause this team is not the Rams or Bucs who will be cellar dwellers next season.

the Panthers while young will be competing for the NFC South next year and have close to a 500 record if not slightly better

9+19+DJ and some low second picks for the #1 overall. I think we pulled off a hell of a deal.

meanwhile the Colts who had the same dilemma as us this off-season have done virtually NOTHING to improve their situation.

Suck it Bears, suck it media

I fully agree. With a little good fortune, I could easy see the Panthers having a 9-8 record this year and winning the NFC South.

yeah i had nothing against Bears fans until now

years and years of being ass, making bad choices with QBs, and being ...  well,   ass..

and they act like they won the superbowl and we are so stupid.

well, if we end up with a successful franchise QB and they are looking for one in the near future, we won that trade in a slam dunk.

eat sshit bear fans

    • OK, fair enough--however, since my point was that drafting a QB in the top 10 is stupid, if you consider the players who were not drafted in the top 10 or those who WERE drafted in the top 10 and did not secure starting positions with the team that drafted them, you should see the point.  Is it smart to draft a QB in the top 10 when only 4 are still starting for the team that drafted them.  Next, consider that half of that number, 2, were drafted outside the first round.  Next, there are 4 (Goff, Mayfield, Jones, and Darnold) who are starting on other teams after busting.   That number could increase as Arizona seems ready to move on from Murray, Miami is not sold on Tua, and jacksonville is still waiting for Trevor to start looking elite.  Bryce?   So to answer your question, there are MANY more QBs in the NFL who have busted and become starters on other rosters, were drafted after day 1, or are still on the cusp than the four who have become elite.  I thought that point was made.
    • I’m more upset that we are changing uniforms in the middle of this road win streak. We have won our last 3 road games in Silver Helmets, White Jerseys, and Blue Pants. We are supposedly wearing Black Helmets, White Jerseys, Black Pants this week… I am a superstitious person
    • He did so well they are moving him to RB, Legette to QB, and Moton to TE…. Interesting. Coker might struggle at LT https://www.panthers.com/news/panthers-release-depth-chart-ahead-of-week-12-for-the-2025-season
